Secret Meetings
So, everyone's talking about what special access for campaign cash means in this election. According to one local blogger, apparently it means that Councilmembers Silverman and Knapp take secret meetings with developers that are against the rules. Hey Gilbert, still think there's nothing wrong with taking big bucks from big business?

I'm not saying Steve Silverman is the ideal candidate but he'll do a far better job than Ike Leggett. A County Executive that hews to the NIMBY crowd is as bad (if not worse) than one that panders to developers.
