Ka Pow! Miller Throws Down

The League isn't a fan of violence. Usually. But the destruction of solid Baltimore rowhouses to make way for yuppie condos, as we Charles Villagers are witnessing on St. Paul, makes us want to hit these goddamn developers in the face. Social norms and laws against assault keep us from acting on this impulse.

But they don't stop Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller.

A developer accused the Calvert County Democrat of slugging him in the jaw at a hearing yesterday, according to The Post. According to his account, Miller grabbed his left arm before flying a fist at the developer's jaw.

Now if only legislators would put up this much of a fight where it really matters: in the General Assembly.
