Fight the Election Disaster!

The League and other blogs documented the numerous problems with today's primary. Now there's something you can do about it.

The ACLU of Maryland is operating a Voter Hotline to document evidence of voter intimidation and suppression. The number is (410) 889-8555. Call with your experience. Did your polling place open late? Were Elections Judges on time? Was everyone provided with a voting card?

If you live in Baltimore City or Montgomery County, there's something you can do right now! Due to the wealth of problems encountered in these politically important jurisdictions, polling has been extended by one hour. The polls will close at 9pm. Some Elections Judges, however, have been overheard stating that they plan to close at 8pm. Walk or drive to polling locations in your area and make sure that they remain open past 8pm. If a location has shut down, please make note of all the available information and call the hotline.

Crablaw called on bloggers and blog readers to take a stand. Now take it!
